We think that the 48 Hour Adventure blog is a truly unique and brilliant concept, written by travel enthusiast and Aussie expat Justin Morris. The blog posts detail Justin’s 48 hour guides to some of Europe’s top cities. Justin is a living example of a working travel blogger - with just the weekends to explore, Justin provides inspiration for the Monday – Friday office workers who don’t feel like they have the time to travel and work. An insightful guide to Copenhagen was our favourite guide of his from 2011, especially the food and drink guide that displayed a real insider knowledge of Denmark’s capital city.

BackpackBanter.com – My Top 10 Thailand iPhone Pics

Backpackbanter.com is the story of Chris, a ‘Brit abroad’ documenting his travel around the world through this top blog. Aimed at backpackers and budget travellers, this blog is one of the best for providing travellers with inspiration for backpacking in Asia, and will soon be providing similar content for South America. Our favourite article from 2011 is Chris’ collection of travel photos from Thailand that were all taken via an iPhone – inspiring photography along with a touch of comic genius!

Wildjunket.com is the travel blog of Nellie Huang, in her own words Nellie is a travel journalist that is “obsessed with languages, cultural exchange, mojitos and offbeat travels”. Covering a wide variety of destinations and topics, Nellie’s articles constantly provide readers with original and compelling stories every time you visit the blog. One of her articles which was of particular interest to us was ‘ 7 destinations to visit for a drink’. We really enjoyed reading her insight into South Korea as one of the world’s top destinations for a holiday drink!

The GlobeTrotterGirls are a fascinating combination of an American travel editor - Jessica, and Dani - a German freelance photographer. Together they have produced their own unique travel blog, focused on making the most of every moment of their travels across the world. Expect visual extravagance when visiting this blog with their ‘Polaroid of the Week’. Their series of posts gives readers a snapshot of their enthralling travels and truly inspires the mind!
