When the iPhone 4 launched last June, here at lowcostholidays.com, we saw an amazing 43% increase in iPhone traffic to our site from one month to the next! With traffic to our site from iPhones already up a massive 255% year on year, we’re predicting that even more people will be looking for holidays on their phones with the release of the iPhone 5.
The top destinations searched for from mobile devices over the last 6 months are all Mediterranean based with Malta leading the way followed by Mallorca, Ibiza and Marbella. The popularity of booking these lively resorts through mobile devices could be due to the age of the people using the internet to book holidays on their phones. You can then even share where you are going on sites like Facebook and Twitter, seconds after you have booked!
