The town of Guadalest must not be missed and can be found in a beautiful mountainous area, which are full of tranquillity. This place is a small scenic village with fantastic views. The hanging castle of the town is the most famous and attractive scene. The street leading to the castle (De La Pena) is extremely pretty with whitewashed houses decorated with flowerpots. At the end of this street is the Town Hall where there are dungeons dating back to the XII carved into the rock. This is the highest and oldest part of the village where you can still see the local church of the Virgin, a bell tower built into the rock and of course the Castle.

Terra Mitica Theme Park is situated just inland from Benidorm. The park has five themed areas - Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and the Islands, each designed so you can enjoy the mysteries of the most ancient and legendary civilisations of the Mediterranean. It also has some of the largest and most exhilarating rides in Europe and mustn't be missed for theme park enthusiasts.

Mundomar is a Marine and Exotic Animal Park and has many outstanding attractions including one of the best dolphinariums in Europe. There is plenty to do for all the family and well worth a visit on your holiday to Costa Blanca.

The Fuentes del Algar, (Waterfalls of Algar) are a natural beauty spot set high in the mountains behind Altea. A beautiful river tumbles down the mountain in a cascade of waterfalls, and its pools are very popular with swimmers.

Spend a day at the Vergel Safari Park and enjoy watching exotic wild animals in their natural environment.  Drive through open natural terrain surrounded by lions and tigers basking in the sun.  Walk around quite freely to see monkeys, apes, ostriches, wolves, zebras and many other animals.  The park also has a reptile house, aviary, sea lion and parrot show.
